Jyeshtha

Jyeshtha is the third month of the Hindu calendar. It occurs during the peak of summer in the Indian subcontinent.

Significance

The name Jyeshtha means "the eldest" or "the biggest." Worshipping the Sun and performing water-related charities are considered beneficial during this hot month.
