Shani (Saturn)

Shani is the Lord of Karma and justice. He is the most feared yet most just of the Navagrahas, dispensing results according to one's actions.

Significance

Saturn rules Capricorn (Makara) and Aquarius (Kumbha). He signifies discipline, longevity, detachment, and hard work.

Iconography

Shani is dark in color (blue or black), holding a sword, arrows, and two daggers. He rides a crow or a vulture.
