Shravana is the fifth month of the Hindu calendar. It is considered one of the holiest months, dedicated entirely to the worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Lakshmi.
Significance
The entire month of Shravana is considered auspicious. Devotees perform special pujas, fast on Mondays (Shravan Somwar), and Fridays.
